PRIVACY · WAITLIST v1

Minimal data.
Clear purpose.

The OpenFirefly research waitlist is designed to collect as little personal data as possible and to make removal straightforward.

Effective 06 August 2026 · Consent version 2026-08-06-v1

What we collect

We collect your email address, an optional professional field, language, consent version, signup source, and time. To prevent abuse, we temporarily process a pseudonymous network identifier and submission timing; we do not store a raw IP address.

How we use it

We use the data only for material OpenFirefly research updates and possible invitations to professional discovery or evaluation. We do not sell the list, use it for advertising profiles, or treat signup as a product order.

How it is protected

Email addresses are encrypted before database storage. A keyed lookup value prevents duplicate entries. Only the current hourly anti-abuse window is evaluated; records older than 24 hours are deleted during later request processing. Access remains limited to OpenFirefly operations.

Retention and choice

We retain a waitlist entry until you remove it, the research program ends, or the list is no longer needed. You can remove an address below at any time; the response does not reveal whether an address was registered.

Remove an address

Enter the same email address. If it exists, the encrypted entry will be deleted.
